THE MUNROS
If it’s true that the majority of my hill runs would feel incomplete without visiting the summit, it’s also true I’ve never really been one for ‘compleating’ the Munros. Looking at the list recently however it occurred to me that there couldn’t be that many left to visit. And there were a few obvious gaps to fill close to Crianlarich. We didn’t quite tick off all the requisite tops, and those covered were made infinitely more impressive in the conditions, despite the soft snow which made hard work of the running. But with so few left of the 282, and the majority of the Corbetts also claimed, I can’t help but wonder how many of those that remain, I might join in a series of new routes for the new year.
